Nether is the first of the gods. Before time and before anything there was him. Growing lonely he created Mutanus, together they created the other deities. This was not enough to satisfy Nether and their thirst for creation, wanting more Nether with the help of the other deities created the material world and the dimensions around them. Still not satisfied with their creations he created another world with their accompanying dimensions and then another. Soon there were millions of creations from Nether's Design. This grew to take its toll on the deities, looking over all these worlds so they made more sets of themselves. Each world and dimension would get their own set of deities to govern over them. Trillions of years passed by of worlds coming to a natural end and new ones taking their place. Then the world plague showed up destroying worlds and their dimensions costing the lives of all those who inhabited them before they had ran their course. Nether's anguish over their creations being destroyed caused them to do all they could to save their worlds. Sacrificing themselves over and over again Nether destroyed their very being to form a new world from the fragments of old safe guarded from the world plague that had struck the previous. This new world would be known as Lorothyis. In the process of destroying themselves they had made it so their presence in the world would be lessened in order to stand as a protector. Many religious scholars and High Priestesses debate if Nether has become a dead god lost in the proustite to protect what they have created. Though their power as a deity has diminished in this world they may now take on a whole new roll since the finding of the Eyes of Nether leading to new, once thought to be doomed, worlds to join those who had been saved previously.
